Bringing a Photo Back to Life

March 19, 2016

One of my favorite things I like to do is try to bring a photo alive. This week I had the opportunity to take a photo that was shot by a friend of mine and enhance it. The photo was a nice photo take in London. As many people know London can be a pretty rainy and cloudy place. Those types of conditions are great if you can get the right exposure and clarity of a photo. In the before photo you can see there was a lot of shadows that blocked a lot of the detail from the bridge in the background. The foreground was pretty much gone.

I loved the moody clouds but I wanted to see if I could enhance and improve the photo a little. In the after photo you can see I was able to bring back some of the colors and light and still keep the moodiness of the shot. The photo enhancement was done by using some great presets, and brushes adjustments. I think it turned out pretty cool. There is nothing like bringing a photo back to life.

I will be posting more photo enhancements in the future so check back on my blog regularly.

Until next time.
