One of the favorite portrait sessions I like to shoot are biker portraits. I like to photograph bikers because they are unique subjects to photograph and the options are limitless. I like to create a mood for a biker portrait. Best of all is the available props to use for the shoots. For me, the key is to find out what each biker wants in a photo and provide them with a venue to express themselves. That can be difficult because all bikers and their bikes can be very different. I need to know if a biker wants a clean traditional photo or a more moody grungy type of image. I personally enjoy the more grungy images, but the look may not work for every biker. What many times dictates the types of images would be the best may sometimes come down the biker and the location of the photoshoot. One type of location does not work for every biker photoshoot.
Coming soon, I plan to photograph local bikers and their bikes starting in the Spring, 2018. I will be posting some images of the bikers I photograph so stay tuned. If you are a biker and live in my local area and would like to schedule your own private biker photoshoot, feel free to contact me. I would love to be your personal biker photographer.
Until next time, keep shooting!
